Our Behavior Interventionists work in homes and schools of our clients, implementing strategies to minimize problem behaviors and promote new learning. Behavior Interventionists work directly under a Clinical Supervisor, who carries out assessments, develops intervention plans, and provides regular consultation and on-site supervision. Program Directors support Clinical Supervisors and staff and are responsible for the overall effectiveness of the services. Program Coordinators and other Administrative staff ensure that program reporting, billing, and other activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.

 

  • Position Title: Behavior Interventionists

Profile: Must have a strong desire to work with special needs children and be committed to learning techniques of Applied Behavioral Analysis. Must enjoy “playing” with children, have good limit-setting skills and a working knowledge of behavior modification techniques. Knowledge of ABA, PECS, Floortime, and DTT a plus, as well as training in Pro-Act or CPI. Must be comfortable working independently, driving to appointments, and taking direction from others. Bilingual (especially Spanish) also a plus.

Primary responsibilities: Provide direct behavioral services to children ages 2 to 15 with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental or behavioral disorder and their families.

Works in: School, home, and/or community setting

Reports to: Clinical Supervisor

Education and Training Requirements: High School Diploma

Experience Requirements: Minimum one year of experience working with children

Additional Requirements, depending on specific program: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in related field, is required for most programs. Knowledge and experience in ABA is required for some programs.

Pay Range: $15-22/hour, depending on qualifications and experience, with additional $1/hour for evening and weekend cases.

Benefits: Part-time and full-time hours available. Day/evening/weekend hours available. Full benefits package may be available based on number of hours worked. Supervision for individuals working toward ABA, LMFT, and Speech & Language certifications/licenses.

 

  • Position Title: Clinical Supervisor

Profile: Must have a strong desire to work with special needs children and be committed to utilizing and training others in techniques of Applied Behavioral Analysis. Must enjoy observing and training others. Working knowledge of ABA, PECS, Discrete Trial Training, and/or Pivotal response a plus; bilingual in ASL & Spanish a plus. Must be comfortable working independently, driving to appointments, and giving and taking direction. Bilingual (especially Spanish) also a plus.

Primary responsibilities: Provides on-site staff supervision, development of behavioral programs, report writing, attendance at IEPs, and consultations with parents and school personnel.

Reports to: Clinical Program Director

Education and Training Requirements: Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Child Development, Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or a related field.

Experience Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of 1:1 direct service experience with children in school/home setting, experience with designing, implementing and supervising behavioral programs, and case management experience.

Additional Requirements, depending on specific program: Knowledge, experience, education, and/or certification in ABA is required for some programs.

Pay Range: $22 and up, depending on qualifications and experience

  • Position Title: Clinical Program Director

Profile: Must have a strong commitment to providing exemplary services to special needs children and their families and to staying abreast of the latest in research and practice. Must enjoy providing supervision, training, and direction to staff.

Primary responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of clinical program. Provides on-site staff supervision, oversees development of behavioral programs, report review and approval, and consultations with parents and school personnel.

Works in: School, home, office and/or community setting.

Reports to: Executive Director

Education and Training Requirements: Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Child Development, Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or a related field.

Experience Requirements: TBA

Additional Requirements, depending on specific program: Graduate degree, preferably in related field, is required for most programs. Knowledge and experience in ABA is required for all programs.

Pay Range: Depends on qualifications and experience.
